Research Interests
1) How developmental exposure to environmental chemicals reprograms the epigenetic memory and the nuclear receptor-signaling to modulate drug metabolism and transport during and beyond childhood; and 2) how the gut microbiome modulates the ontogeny of genes that are involved in drug metabolism and obesity, and how the developmental reprogramming of gut microbiome by probiotics and antibiotics modulate pediatric pharmacology and childhood obesity.
