Research Interests
Dr. Means is an epidemiologist and implementation scientist with an interest in integrating implementation outcomes into clinically oriented research to ensure that findings translate into the evidence needed to inform policy and guidelines. Her research portfolio includes neglected tropical diseases, HIV, and nutrition and diarrheal diseases. Dr. Means uses mixed-methods to adapt evidence-based programs in the United States, Kenya, Benin, India, and Malawi for contextual fit and optimized effectiveness.
