HIV Community Planning Coordinator (HSC 3) DOH4107 - State of Washington
As the HIV Community Planning Coordinator you’ll serve as the designated health services consultant for the Washington State HIV community planning process. Program planning duties include facilitating the HIV Planning Steering Group, working with Special Emphasis Workgroups, convening Stakeholder Villages, compiling planning materials, conducting needs assessments, developing the HIV Integrated Care and Prevention Comprehensive Plan, and documenting processes. You’ll also represent the HIV care and prevention program at national meetings and conferences.
The duties of this position support the department’s mission of working to protect and improve the health of people in Washington State by planning to end the HIV epidemic in Washington State by reducing new HIV infections and improving health outcomes for people living with HIV.

This is a full-time permanent position.
What we’re looking for – Required Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Health Care Administration, Public/Business administration, Social Work, or a closely allied field.
• Three (3) or more years of professional experience in the following:
o Providing consultation in a health services program.
o Applying principles, practices, and techniques of community planning.
o Strategic planning, program planning, logic model development, or quality improvement.
o Developing and applying cultural competency standards at a program level.
o Providing technical assistance in-person, by phone, or computer.
o Working within a culturally diverse environment.
• Experience facilitating meetings.
• Demonstrated experience applying knowledge of HIV epidemic and HIV care service delivery system.
• A Master’s degree in public health, health care administration, public administration , psychology, social work, or allied field.
• Three (3) or more years of experience applying knowledge of HIV epidemic and HIV care service delivery system.
