Description:

ExxonMobil exposure scientists evaluate the exposures and risks of chemical and petroleum products and processes. Typical activities include performing human health risk assessments, exposure assessment and control evaluations, exposure modeling, interaction with governmental/regulatory agencies, design and monitoring of exposure sciences and industrial hygiene research programs, development of literature reviews, and participation in professional organizations and trade  associations.

Skills/Eligibility:

The prospective candidate should have broad training in public health and a graduate degree in exposure sciences, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related field. A strong working knowledge in exposure assessment and control, exposure modeling, and human health risk assessment is essential. In addition, experience with risk management, legislative and regulatory process, public health, data analytics, and/or biostatistics is an advantage.


Candidates must be able to work independently and interact well with individuals in other scientific
disciplines to achieve worldwide business objectives and to ensure compliance with corporate policies and international health and environmental regulations.


This position requires extensive consultation and technical support to ExxonMobil affiliates worldwide and will require travel. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
