The research group of Dr. Sunmin Lee, Professor of Epidemiology at University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine is hiring 1-2 Postdoctoral Scientists. The selected candidate will contribute to and lead research centered on reducing health disparities among Asian Americans or/and immigrant population.

Postdoctoral candidates must possess a doctoral degree in epidemiology or a related field. Strong quantitative analytical and writing skills are required. Research experience in social determinants of health, disparities, social and behavioral sciences, health policy, or demography is desirable. The postdoctoral scientist will be expected to conduct statistical analyses, publish manuscripts, present findings at national conferences, and assist with grant application and project management. 

The Postdoctoral Scientist will work with the principal investigator, other project faculty, collaborative research groups, and the rest of the research team to help achieve the aims of the NIH-funded randomized controlled trial to reduce colorectal cancer disparities among Asian Americans as well as other research projects that aim to reduce health disparities. This is a full-time position with benefits based in Irvine, California.
