We are recruiting for the following position:

Position Summary:

Community Health Worker for MSS – Posting #20664: Full-time position available for the Maternity Support Services Program for Bellingham Whatcom Country. This position requires flexibility, self-initiative, and the ability to manage time, resources, and client caseload efficiently. Under the direction of the program manager, works closely with all MSS team members scheduling appointments, maintaining client’s charts, enrolling clients into the program, dealing with phone calls and questions about the program. This position also has an outreach component and ideally the candidate would be a member of the community.

Skills/Eligibility:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • One year of health and/or social services experience working with childbearing families preferred.
  • Computer experience needed and database entry skills preferred.
  • Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
