Position Title: Admissions Reader

Hours per week: Up to 20

Position Summary: The Public Health-Global Health (PH-GH) Major is seeking two (2) admissions readers, each up to 20 hours per week, from March 29, 2021 through May 7, 2021. Admissions readers will support the review and evaluation of prospective students’ applications for admission into the PH-GH Major.
Hourly rate: $18.00
Comments: Please note that this position is hourly and does not come with a tuition waiver nor benefits
Skills/Eligibility:
Specific Job Functions:
- Become versed with admissions and academic requirements for the Public Health-Global Health Major
- Participate in admissions trainings and discussions
- Review and evaluate admissions applications using a holistic lens
- Make recommendations for admissions based on participation in the review process
- Other tasks, as necessary
Required Qualifications: Minimum standing of current graduate student in the School of Public Health
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the Public Health-Global Health Major; experience with admissions processes; experience with Google suite; knowledge about systemic oppression and affect on health disparities
