Green Mountain Farm-to-School is a nonprofit organization in northern Vermont promoting the health of Vermont’s children, farms, and communities by providing programs to connect schools and farms through food and education. We do this by building school gardens, delivering local food to schools and institutions, and educating the community about healthy food choices.

Status: Full-time One Year Service Position
Start Date: August 16th, 2021
Living Stipend: Approx. $15,300
Other benefits: $6,100 education award, subsidized shared housing available
Position Description
The AmeriCorps Farm-to-School Coordinator will work with school staff to develop, implement and evaluate Farm to School program activities such as taste tests, farm field trips, school gardens, nutrition education and more. This position is part of the Lyndon Economic opportunity AmeriCorps Program (LEAP). Additional information & complete job description is available here.
