Description:

This 12-week summer internship position will work closely with the Senior Director, Reimbursement and Health Policy to develop a strategy for communicating and synthesizing key findings on the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s process on Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and Medicare Stars quality measures. 

The intern will:

  • Analyze and summarize the NCQA/HEDIS process, including a detailed report describing evidentiary requirements 
  • Create a detailed spreadsheet of national and regional plans and their Star ratings
  • Perform a financial analysis estimating the impact of increasing Star ratings to individual plans
  • Create a slide deck(s) summarizing key findings for internal presentation and education
  • Intern may support other projects as needed

Compensation: Hourly: $20/hr

Desired background and experience:

Applicants must be in their last year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program or a recent graduate, ideally studying health policy, public health, finance, or economics.

Eligibility:

This is an hourly remote position, but applicants must live in the United States and be willing to work West coast hours.
