The Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Women’s Health (CIRWH) at UTMB is recruiting an experienced research scientist who will conduct, report, and present research on HPV-related cancers, HPV vaccine uptake, and HPV prevalence within the US population under the supervision of the CIRWH Director. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team that engages in clinical research and has a strong history of research support for cancer prevention, with over $15 million in secured funding over the past decade.

Applicants with a doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, or comparable degree) in epidemiology, statistics, public health, demography, sociology, or related fields are invited to apply. Preferred qualifications for this position include excellent writing skills and prior experience with research on cancer prevention and/or human papillomavirus vaccines. Previous postdoctoral experience is preferred but not required.
