The Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist is located in the Maternal Child Health Epidemiology Section of the Family Community Health Bureau (FCHB).This new position will support maternal and child health programs within the FCHB. Responsibilities include: 1) Analyzing surveillance data such as health indicators, risk factors, and disease surveillance information; 2) Analyzing programmatic and service-related data; 3) Designing, coordinating, and managing special surveillance and/or evaluation procedures where there is no other existing data available; 4) Developing and conducting various trainings related to epidemiological and program evaluation issues; and 5) Designing and conducting program evaluations.
