Reporting to a Deputy Manager, these Health Services Consultant 3 positions function as assistant managers to a statewide health program.  As a Credentialing Program Section Manager, you will:

• Develop and implement health policies and procedures for healthcare providers.
• Supervise staff who provide health services to the public.
• Control daily operations of the credentialing team, including assigning work and coaching and balancing workloads.
• Set performance expectations and provide evaluation feedback on a regular basis.
• Identify and recommend ways to improve the operation efficiency of the team and the Credentialing Section as a hole.
• Carefully balance access to care and patient safety through the credentialing process.

The duty station for this position is in Tumwater, WA. The nature of the position requires primarily in office work and the incumbent is expected to report to the duty station for work activities. Partial telecommuting may be an option subject to supervisory approval.  It is anticipated that the incumbent would be expected to report to the Tumwater duty station for work activities 5-days weekly.
