The Department of Health Systems and Population Health has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Research Coordinator to work with the Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC), one of 26 Prevention Research Centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

HPRC conducts community-based research that promotes the health and well-being of middle-aged and older adults, particularly those with lower incomes and in ethnic/cultural minority populations most at risk of health disparities. The Research Coordinator will support activities across several projects in the areas of workplace health promotion and healthy aging. This position requires some local travel.

The Research Coordinator will provide coordination across Dr. Linda Ko’s portfolio of projects including NIH COVID-19 testing programs, health communication studies, and community engagement studies. This person will also coordinate communication within team and across project partners and associated coordination tasks that arise during the project lifecycle.

Housed in the UW School of Public Health, the Department of Health Systems and Population Health is a dynamic academic and research department with the mission of working with partners in public health and health care to prepare leaders, design solutions, and conduct innovative research that is translated into practice and policy.
