Our efforts focus on:
- Child and teen passenger safety
- Pedestrian and bicycle safety
- Recreation and sports safety
- Medication safety and poison prevention
- Drowning prevention and water safety
- Fire, burn, and carbon monoxide safety.
- Infant safe sleep
- Safe firearm storage
- Suicide prevention
The Program Coordinator works directly with community members and stakeholders to coordinate and deliver injury prevention programs using education, outreach, policy change, and systems change models. Region 15 Target Zero Manager: Facilitates work with state and local partners to effectively implement the strategies necessary to eliminate traffic deaths and injuries on our Region’s roadways.
