This is a full-time, non-permanent Health Services Consultant 3 (HSC 3) position located within the Health Systems Unit anticipated to last 12 months.

As the (HSC 3) you will:

  • Work to increase well child primary care visits and mental health access for children and adolescents. 
  • Provide quality improvement Technical Assistance to community health clinics and MCOs working to implement evidence-based interventions to increase pediatrics performance measures.
  • Act as a quality improvement consultant for two collaborative workgroups comprised of the Medicaid Managed Care Organizations.

 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the Health Systems improvement work and provide technical assistance to community-based health clinics and partners on quality improvement activities implementing evidence-based interventions. 
  • Provide recommendations that the workgroup adopt culturally and linguistically appropriate services that are evidence based or newly emerging promising practices.
  • Assist with facilitating bi-monthly workgroup meetings comprised of all five Managed Care Organizations, engaging partners with cultural humility and a corresponding awareness of equity, diversity and inclusion principles.
  • Coordinate with peers and expert faculty to co-produce relevant learning objectives and guide the design of training activities and interventions.
  • Manage contract(s) or components of contracts associated with the MCO workgroups and draft statements of work and measurable performance goals for contractors.

 
The duty station for this hybrid position is in Tumwater, WA. The incumbent will work with their supervisor to identify an appropriate work schedule and balance including telework, work within the community, and reporting to the Tumwater, WA duty station for work activities. We anticipate the incumbent will work onsite or an alternate location 2 days monthly.  An alternative work schedule may be considered upon request and supervisor approval.
