This position is responsible for oversight and supervision of Section administrative operations including administrative support functions, training & workforce capacity building, logistics & information systems management, finance and other human resource processes and functions. The position informs and oversees the development and implementation of Section policies and strategic priorities related to training and workforce development, surge event planning, ensuring fair and equitable recruitment and hiring processes, continuous quality improvement efforts, and employee engagement, safety, and well-being. The position is responsible for supervising, mentoring, and leading staff, cultivating strong relationships, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders and partners.

As a team manager in the CD-Imms Section, the incumbent provides input on the organizational structure, contributes to the Section’s business plan, and models a culture of a healthy organization by supporting employee engagement and professional growth opportunities, policies that promote anti-racist and trauma-informed approaches, and practices that strengthen role clarity, effective decision-making processes, and cross-team collaboration.

The position reports to the Section’s Deputy Chief.
