Interested in the foundation world? Applications are open for a Program Analyst position with the Families and Communities team at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. The Center for Social Sector Leadership offers this unique fellowship in partnership with the Foundation to provide next generation leaders the opportunity to engage with philanthropic and nonprofit leaders and work with a grantmaking team serving diverse issues and populations.

The Families and Communities team is developing two new initiatives: the California Initiative focuses on ensuring that California communities are resilient, able to respond to and withstand ongoing change and adversity, and equipped to ensure that all residents–children, youth, families, and adults–are able to thrive; the Child and Family Initiative focuses on creating an equitable and sustainable two-generation system of quality care and support from prenatal to age three.

This position will directly support the Vice President of the Families and Communities team. The Vice President will also deploy the Program Analyst to work on diverse projects within the team. The fellow will also enjoy full support from UC Berkeley-Haas School of Business’ Founder and Faculty Director of the Center for Social Sector Leadership, who will provide context for the foundation world, access to resources for fellowship success, and personal coaching and supervision for the fellow.
