Registered Dietitian - North Valley Hospital and District
Description:
This position supports a critical access hospital and long term care facility, as well as a light caseload of outpatients. The dietitian will assess all long-term care residents upon admission and quarterly and acute care patients as referred. The dietitian is also responsible for working closely with Kitchen services on menu planning and general food services support. The dietitian attends multidisciplinary meetings in both acute and extended care and provides education for staff, patients, and family members. We have a vibrant rehab team that also works with the dietitian to support patients with swallowing dysfunction and diet texture recommendations. This position reports to the Director of Allied Health.
