The Technology Sector Navigator is responsible for providing case management, academic guidance and support services to Goodwill Technology Sector Pathway participants. The Sector Navigator will support students in their transition to, and completion of, post-secondary job training certificates. Support will be provided through the facilitation of barrier removal, support navigating and completing Evergreen Goodwill workshops and labs, goal mapping, and on-going check-ins from initial contact to further education or employment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

• Provide case management to approximately 30 students a year including establishing short and long-term goal objectives, monitor their achievement through regular meetings, and identify barriers and steps necessary to overcome obstacles and direct advocacy as needed.
• Provide sector navigation support to students using an industry-specific student success toolkit. Training will be provided.
• Complete relevant assessments including all required forms and documents for student’s enrollment.
• Facilitate student check-ins and hold regular meetings in 1:1 setting.
• Capture clear and accurate case notes of all significant interaction in company web- based case management platform in a timely manner, maintaining orderly, complete, and up-to-date files of assigned caseload.
• Enter program-related metrics on a quarterly basis in grant-based case management platform.
• Capture and preserve documentation of all project-related expenditures in a clear, organized, and timely manner.
• Determine whether student needs will be met through the provision of direct services utilizing Goodwill resources or by referral to another organization.
