The University of Washington Department of Global Health has an outstanding opportunity to join our Academic Programs and Student Services (APSS) Team as an Academic & Student Services Assistant Director.   We are a collaborative, student-centered team who are committed to supporting our students from admissions to graduation. The Academic & Student Services Assistant Director position is a key position in the Department’s Academic Programs & Student Services (APSS) team, providing direction, leadership, and oversight of the Department’s academic programs and student services operations, including curriculum development and pedagogical advancement, fostering a learning environment consistent with values of justice and equity, development of policies and procedures, managing operations, and supervision of staff. This position regularly exercises discretion, good judgement and independent decision-making authority. The position requires the ability to work in a dynamic environment and quickly determine priorities while building and maintaining the infrastructure required to sustain a high quality and productive academic environment. 

 

We are looking for an experienced leader who can provide oversite as well as a student-centered approach as part of a team. This is a grade 9, full-time professional staff position with a salary range of $6,939 - $9,500 per month. Individuals within the team have the flexibility to split their time working offsite and on campus in the Hans Rosling Center for Population Health.
