Description:

The University of Washington, Department of Epidemiology is seeking Research Assistant (50% FTE) to work with Dr. Ali Rowhani-Rahbar on the evaluation of a community violence intervention (CVI) program in Seattle, WA.

The goal of the evaluation is to understand how CVI participants’ risk of using or experiencing violence or firearm-related harm changed over time in relation to their involvement with the program. The RA will assist with longitudinal data analysis and the management, cleaning, and individual-level probabilistic and deterministic linkage of several data sources, including health and criminal legal system records. The RA will also assist with project-related communications, supporting community partnerships, conducting literature reviews, and contributing to writing/preparing manuscripts and other forms of dissemination.

Skills/Eligibility:

Current graduate student in epidemiology.
