Description:

IPHG is seeking one 50% FTE TA for the Spring quarter offering of PHG 301: Introduction to Genetic Epidemiology. The TA will support the teaching of the course and must attend both weekly lectures, lead two quiz sections and hold office hours, in addition to other requirements. 

  • Required qualifications: full-time enrollment in a UW graduate degree program; previous coursework in genetic epidemiology

  • Preferred qualifications: current IPHG student

  • Appointment period: 3/16/2025 - 6/15/2025

  • Appointment type: 50% FTE - 220 hrs/qtr

  • Compensation is $3,291/month, pre-tax, using bi-monthly paydays; tuition or UWC2 course fees up to 18 credits, some fees; GAIP insurance
