The Oregon Health Authority has a fantastic opportunity for a Healthier Oregon School Outreach and Engagement Advisor to join an excellent team. This is a Full-Time, Permanent, Classified Represented position with the External Relations Division.

 

The AA Salary Range for this position is between $6,736.00 to $10,345.00 per month.

 

What you will do!

 

The School Outreach and Engagement Advisor (School Advisor) will lead outreach and engagement activities to support and build relationships across Oregon’s educational system. The School Advisor is responsible for working with academic leaders around the state to share information about the Oregon Health Plan, exchanging outreach ideas, and identifying new opportunities to promote awareness and drive increased enrollment and access to services for students and their families, raise awareness on how Social Determinants Of Health may impact the overall physical and behavioral health and academic performance of students in the classrooms and its impact in the well-being of communities as a whole.

What we are looking for:

 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and five years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to eight years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
