Health, Safety, & Environmental Coordinator
 
The Health, Safety, & Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role involves conducting risk assessments, training employees, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Coordinate and conduct EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and compliance efforts.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Promote a safety culture by encouraging employee participation in safety initiatives and reporting concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary for the role.

Skills/Eligibility:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an EHS coordinator role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of OSHA workplace safety requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in EHS (e.g., CSP, CIH, or similar) is a plus.
