Description:
The Emergency Preparedness Coordinator is a key member of the Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (LCPHSS) team. This position works to ensure the county is ready to respond effectively to public health emergencies, natural disasters, and other incidents that threaten community well-being. The Coordinator develops, implements, and maintains public health emergency response plans. They create preparedness trainings and exercises for the department and serve as a liaison with community partners. The Coordinator also supports public health response efforts during incidents and provides technical assistance and guidance to LCPHSS staff and community partners on best practices in emergency response.
