- Manage / Support EHS Insight Reporting and Data Analysis
- EHS Insight IT support
- SDS Updates
- Minor Injury Investigation/follow-up
- Support Sr. Specialist during major investigations.
- Facilitate Event & iCare corrective actions, tracked to closer
- New Employee set-up/removal of employees who have left the company
- Training Development/ revision
- Safety Inspections & Walk-about’s
- ERE & Fire Extinguishers
- First Aid kits- inventory management
- Chemical Inventory & Compliance Inspections
- Develop /revise written programs
- Perform Risk Assessments
- Investigate safety events
- Support / Train / Enforce compliance with all written EHS programs
- 4. Waste Management
- Move / label drums/containers for shipment
- Solvent storage container management
- DOT training needed
- HAZWOPER training required
- Environmental Compliance
- Weekly wastewater pH probe calibration, monthly DMR reports, support of semi-annual samples by City of Spokane
- Semi-annual SW inspections
- Monthly generator hours (air permit)
- Develop /revise written programs
- Support Pollution Prevention / Waste Minimizations & Sustainability
- Support / Manage SPCC
- EPCRA Reporting
- Health Management
- Asbestos abatement oversight
- Noise assessments
- Blood Bourne Pathogens / Pandemic support
- Facilitate First Aid / CPR training
- Wildfire Smoke monitoring & compliance
Skills/Eligibility:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry or related scientific field required.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist, Associate Safety Professional desired.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience required.
- Pharmaceutical experience desired.
- Advanced Vocational/Specialized Knowledge required.
- Experience in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted required
- Exposure to allergens and working in aseptic areas required
- Pushing, pulling, twisting and prolonged sitting and standing required
