WH is currently seeking a qualified Health & Safety Coordinator to oversee project safety protocols and procedures. This position will be based out of city, state.

Essential Functions

Establishes and promotes a healthy and safe work environment.

Oversees the implementation and maintenance of environmental health and safety management systems.

Emphasizes accountability around safety policies and decisions.

Aids in the development and implementation of project, regional, and corporate safety strategy companywide.

Works closely with project leadership to create a safe working environment.

Instrumental in training the company’s employees in safety-related issues and techniques.

Skills/Eligibility:

• High School Diploma/GED or two-year degree in occupational safety, environmental safety and health, health management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years construction experience and 1 year of safety experience on a construction site.
• Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Knowledge of OSHA.
