Description:
Public Health – Seattle & King County is seeking a Health Outreach Aide to join its innovative team. The Health Outreach Aide plays a key role in supporting tuberculosis (TB) treatment in the community. This position helps ensure individuals with TB receive the support needed to complete treatment successfully. The role includes daily fieldwork, frequent patient contact, and close coordination with the TB care team to promote treatment adherence and prevent the spread of TB.

Job Duties

- Driving a county car to deliver medications.
- Providing Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) and VDOT reporting any concerns or side effects.
- Collecting specimens and maintaining accurate electronic health records.
- Communicating regularly with nurse case managers and participates in daily huddles to share updates on patient progress and field activities.
