Environmental Specialist - CDMS (Job)
Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage EH&S projects, ensuring outstanding client service and adherence to project schedules and budgets
- Develop health and safety programs
- Prepare reports based on EPA, DTSC, local CUPAs, fire departments, water boards, and other regulatory agencies’ guidelines
- Assist clients with permitting requirements and documentation (e.g., air quality, wastewater, stormwater)
- Conduct employee training sessions (groups of 10–40, approximately 10% of the role)
- Perform monitoring activities (air, soil sampling, etc.) and compliance audits
- Provide ongoing compliance support and other assistance to clients
Skills/Eligibility:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 2–6 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and lead project teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; personable and professional demeanor
- Comfortable delivering group trainings
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
