Good Food Network VISTA - AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer)
Description:
The Good Food Network VISTA will strengthen the food security network by developing sustainable partnership systems, database tools, and outreach resources that staff and partners can use to improve access to food assistance information. The member will support the Washington free food finder by creating database update procedures, data-quality tools, data-sharing templates, and sustainable resources for staff and partners to maintain accurate information. The member will create and pilot outreach templates, communication tools, and guides to increase awareness of our available resources, Nourishing Community, Good Food Exchange, and Eat Local First, that staff can use to improve participation and partnerships. These capacity-building tools will help strengthen a more connected and resilient local food system beyond the VISTA term.
