MPH Application Process

UW School of Public Health has a new MPH application process using SOPHAS.

Apply online following these steps:

STEP 1: DETERMINE YOUR PROGRAM OF INTEREST

Before you apply to the UW School of Public Health, carefully review each MPH degree program to find the one that is best for you. The School offers the following MPH degrees:

STEP 3: KNOW YOUR APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Application requirements vary by department, program, and degree track. In general, you will need to submit the following:

  • Official transcripts from ALL college-level institutions attended
  • English language proficiency requirements, if applicable
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Resume or curriculum vitae
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Personal History statement
  • Equity, Justice, and Anti-Racism Statement
  • Your department, program, or degree track will also require additional materials.

STEP 4: APPLY ONLINE

To be considered for a UW MPH degree program, you must complete both a SOPHAS application and a UW Graduate School online application. You will start the application process in SOPHAS, which will guide you through both that application and the UW Graduate School application.
