Collaborating with OPHP

The Office of Public Health Practice (OPHP) at the University of Washington School of Public Health (UW SPH) works with partners within, across, and external to the UW SPH to apply research, promote evidence-based strategies, and make positive changes in public health.

We welcome partnerships with public health agencies, NGOs, community-based organizations, foundations, ministries of health, private companies, and more. Whether you want to connect with our community, share your expertise through mentorship or networking, or discuss potential projects, reach out to OPHP (see Contact Us).

By collaborating with OPHP and the broader UW SPH community, you can benefit from our knowledge and relationships to address various public health issues, including:

Responding to urgent needs: Offer immediate support and surge capacity to public health agencies dealing with time-sensitive issues.
Broadening research impact: Disseminate research findings to audiences beyond scientific circles, ensuring broader public understanding and application.
Supporting program implementation and evaluation: Aid organizations and communities in developing and evaluating tailored public health programs.
Serving in an advisory capacity: Serve on boards or committees to aide in the development of impactful public health initiatives.
