The University of Washington Master of Health Administration (MHA) program trains the health care leaders of tomorrow. Designed for early career professionals, our program equips students with the leadership skills needed to launch a career in health administration and make an impact on the future of health care.

Graduates assume positions in various types of health care organizations, in urban and rural settings, including hospitals, managed care organizations, clinics, public and community health agencies, consulting firms, governmental and legislative arenas, and long-term care service organizations.


Designed for early-career professionals interested in health care management. Applicants represent a diverse range of undergraduate training and work experience. Competitive applicants have some work experience, preferably in the field of health care/services. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree.
