J&M Global Solutions (www.j-mglobal.com) is recruiting healthcare-focused planners in each of the seven regions in Puerto Rico to support healthcare recovery efforts after Hurricane Maria. These positions are temporary 1099/contract positions. A planner manages and performs required analysis to validate or change, modify, improve and implement plans and procedures for the health and social services issues/recovery support function. A planner facilitates organizational dissemination of findings and resulting recommendations using appropriate techniques, and facilitates group briefings and discussions to enable the development of plans and other decisions. Individuals will be able to assess and prepare strategic plans for healthcare systems recovery.
The basic requirements are a BA (MA preferred) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience (prefer 10) related to healthcare administration. Candidates need to be fully bilingual. Local candidates are a plus. It is anticipated that these positions would be full-time for 45 days with the possibility of an extension to 90 days. Must be able/willing to travel across Puerto Rico to conduct site visits. Initial work will be based out of San Juan and then moving to support health districts (including Arecibo, Mayagüez, Ponce, and Fajardo). Individuals will need to have their own laptop with Microsoft Office and cell phone.
